1. Job Summary
Remarc Property Group is seeking a meticulous and dependable Surveyor Assistant to support our surveying team. You will assist in field data collection, property measurements, and accurate documentation of survey results. If you are physically fit, proficient with basic surveying instruments, communicative in English, and ready to work collaboratively and follow technical instructions, we want you on our team.
2. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Surveyor Assistant or in property field surveying
- Knowledge of basic field survey tasks such as measuring, recording, and mapping locations
- Ability to operate basic surveying equipment (e.g., total station, theodolite, GPS) is a plus
- Understanding and adherence to safety procedures in fieldwork
- Physically capable of working outdoors and walking over varied terrain for extended periods
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and accurate in data recording
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – required
- Basic computer skills for data processing related to surveying
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different survey sites as needed
3. Responsibilities
Support Survey Operations
Assist Surveyors in taking measurements and collecting data at field sites, preparing and maintaining surveying equipment, and ensuring completeness of field documentation.
Data Recording & Management
Accurately input survey data using basic software tools, verifying and validating data before submission to Surveyors.
Physical Readiness & Teamwork
Perform physical tasks in the field such as walking, measuring, and carrying equipment, while effectively collaborating with team members and following technical guidance.
Safety Compliance
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment in the field.
